Vin Diesel's Fast X - Dodge Just Killed the Hellcat

Since the first Fast and Furious film, Vin Diesel is using Dodge muscle cars as Dom Toretto' signature car and the Charger Hellcat is being used in many different chapters of the saga. Well we just learned that after 18 years as one of the most powerful V8s in history, Dodge is finally killing its supercharged Hellcat engine option. The 2023 model year will feature six “Last Call” special edition Hellcat models. Waiting in the wings is the Banshee, an all-electric, 800-volt SRT “eMuscle” powertrain. Dodge aims to make its Banshee the Hellcat of the future that I am more than sure Dom Toretto will drive in Fast X second part, scheduled to be release on May 2024.

Is the Banshee a Dodge car? The Banshee will be a badge designating Dodge’s most powerful eMuscle vehicles. Like Hellcat before it, multiple vehicles across Dodge’s lineup may wear the Banshee badge. We don’t know much about this powertrain, but it promises an 800+ volt system, and will likely make much more than the Hellcat’s 707 horsepower.

Vin Diesel will Drive Dodge Daytona SRT EV Muscle Car In his New Fast & Furious Film. The futuristic concept will take the place of the V8 Dodge Charger in the new Fast X , we can't deny that these movies were aimed squarely at people with nitrous running through their veins.

While in some articles and publications they like to make fun of Fast & Furious movies for some unrealistic action scenes, here we do appreciate everything the franchise has done for car lovers during the last 22 years. It is not only that the saga become a showcase of vehicles' marcs and models, it is also the adrenaline that we the fans carry until the new chapter is available to watch, keeping us expecting the unexpected. It is easy to seat in the theater watching the new release making notes to the bad points (if is any), forgetting that each Fast and Furious movie is an art of magic created in the prodigious mind of Vin Diesel. If you like action movies like I do, you must had seeing many of them already because they are tons of actions movies available everywhere around the world, and if you watch many of them you also keep in your mind as a treasure the best action scenes of each of the movies that you already watched. After this being said, then you should agreed with me that Vin Diesel's mind is able to put together a new guion, adding also new characters and new action scenes never seeing before in the big screen with his personal signature touch in each of his Fast and Furious movies. Hopefully, we'll see some of that translated to EVs eMuscles vehicles.

In another note, It is official! while the Fast X movie is scheduled to be release in theaters on May 19, 2023, the first Fast X World Premier Trailer will be release during Super Ball LVII on February 12, 2023.
