Furious 7 - Paul Walker’s Final Role.
Updated: Feb 13
Furious 7 also known as Fast and Furious 7 or Fast 7 is the seventh chapter of the saga and is a 2015 American action film directed by James Wan and written by Chris Morgan. It is the sequel to Fast & Furious 6 (2013).

The film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker (unfortunately in his final film role), Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Djimon Hounsou, Kurt Russell, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Jason Statham.

Plot: Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), and the rest of their team have returned to the United States to live normal lives after securing amnesty for their past crimes, defeating international terrorist Owen Shaw (Luke Evans).

However, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), a rogue special forces assassin seeking to avenge his comatose younger brother Owen, puts the team in danger once again.

A slick government agent Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell) offers to help Dom and his team take care of Deckard Shaw in exchange for their help in rescuing a kidnapped computer hacker Megan Rumsey (Nathalie Emmanuel), who has developed a powerful surveillance.

Plans for a seventh installment were first announced in February 2012 when Vin Diesel stated that production on the film would begin after the completion of Fast & Furious 6.

Production and principal photography began that September 2013 in Atlanta, with other filming locations including Los Angeles, Colorado, Abu Dhabi, and Tokyo. But was indefinitely suspended in November after the tragic car's accident that took Paul Walker's and his friend Roger Rodas' life.

The video below, regarding Paul Walker and Roger Rodas' accident is computer generated and I thought it is a clean demonstration of how the accident happened.
After Paul Walker's untimely passing in 2013 during the production of Furious 7, filming resumed in April 2014, and ended in July same year.

Vin Diesel, who has played the character of Dominic Toretto since the first installment alongside Paul Walker's (Brian O'Conner), until his tragic passing in 2013 amidst production of "Furious 7", confirming that Universal agreed to complete the rest of Paul Walker's scenes in the film after his passing mid-shoot using a talented team of VFX artists and Paul Walker's brothers Caleb Walker and Cody Walker standing-in to complete his remaining scenes.

The decision was ultimately made to continue because cast and crew thought it was what Paul Walker would have wanted, so the production team set out to honor Paul Walker's memory in the best way possible but causing delay to its 2015 release date.
