You may be wondering what the Furious 7 movie has to do with off-road. Well, as the video above shows, there was a fully custom black 1970 Dodge Charger R/T featured in the movie that was built to go off-road. Built by Dennis McCarthy who has a long-standing relationship building cars for the Fast and the Furious series in his southern California shop, this Charger looks like a great time. With a full roll cage, vertically mounted dual spares out back, a lifted ride height, and some serious suspension travel, the 1970 Dodge Charger looks like something out of a movie! Oh wait, it is. Regardless, the car is far from the usual build that most restorers do with a vintage Charger, and we applaud their efforts because it looks great.

The Fate of the Furious - (Fast 8- 2017 Film)

With Dom and Letty married, Brian and Mia retired, and the rest of the crew exonerated, the globe-trotting team has found some semblance of a normal life. They soon face an unexpected challenge when a mysterious woman named Cipher forces Dom to betray them all. Now, they must unite to bring home the man who made them a family and stop Cipher from unleashing chaos. During The Fate of the Furious or Fast 8, Dominic Toretto drove 5 cars and below we are listing them one by one.

Fernando's car in Havana that Dom used to race Raldo - 1950 Chevrolet Fleetline:

1950 Chevrolet Fleetline - Fernando's car in Havana that Dom used to race Raldo.

1950 Chevrolet Fleetline a 235.5 cid single-barrel carb six-cylinder engine with 105 hp (78 kW) was added. A Fleetline of this vintage could easily exceed 80 miles per hour without overdrive. In very early models, the transmission was a manual synchromesh three-speed, with vacuum-assisted shift,[9] in which the "three-on-the-tree" shifter was able to be moved between gears by the slightest pressure on the lever. Third gear was direct, meaning the input and output are equal speeds. From 1950 through the 1952 final year of its production, an automatic transmission was offered, which was quite sluggish. Overdrive was a rare option. Connection to the third member rear-end was via an enclosed "torque tube" driveshaft. The brakes were hydraulic with all-wheel drums. In 1951, the brakes got larger. The master cylinder was located below the floor connected on the frame rail, beneath the driver. Shock absorbers were of the lever type for the early years only. The windshield for all years was of a split, flat-glass type. Wikipedia

Dom drove the Impala in Cuba and gave it to his cousin Fernando after destroying the Fleetline in the street race. 1961 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe 235 Hi-Thrift (man. 3):

During their mission in Berlin, Dom, Letty, Tej, and Roman used Demons to recover the EMP device. 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon:

2018-Dodge-Challenger-SRT-Demon Presentation -Vin-Diesel

The heart of this demonic Challenger is its 808-hp supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V-8. Wait, didn't we already say it makes 840 horsepower? That is correct, but only when the gas tank is filled with 100-plus-octane race fuel and the $1 Demon Crate package is added, which includes a special engine controller that helps unlock the engine's full potential. Add—or should we say subtract—numerous interior pieces to make it lighter, along with the many other weight-saving methods, and Dodge claims the Demon can cover the quarter mile in 9.65 seconds at 140 mph.

1968 Dodge Charger Ice - The Fate of The Furious

Dodge Charger R/T is a car that has a 2-door coupé type body with a front positioned engine driving through the rear wheels. The 8-cylinder, overhead valve naturally aspirated powerplant has 2 valves per cylinder and a capacity of 7.2 liters. This unit musters power and torque figures of 375 bhp (380 PS/280 kW) at 4600 rpm and 651 Nm (480 lb.t/66.4 gm.) at 3200 rpm respectively. The engine transfers its power through to the wheels by means of a 4-speed manual 'box. The Fate of the Furious. However, once you see the two cars side by side there’s no confusing them. Besides being 2 model years apart, the Speed Kore build is polished and show ready. Under the shiny paint is plenty of carbon fiber, something the Wisconsin shop is famous for using. The 440 Six Pack has been slightly tweaked, and by slightly we mean built to the point it’s pushing 1,650-horsepower.

F9 - The Fast Saga (2021 Film)

In 1989, Jack Toretto participates in a late model race, with his sons Dominic and Jakob working in the pit crew. Dom argues with rival racer Kenny Linder about his dirty tactics. During the race, Linder's car clips Jack's bumper, causing his car to crash and burn, killing him. A week after, Dom is arrested for beating Linder to near death. While serving his sentence, he recalls that Jakob had worked on their father's car the day he died and concludes that Jakob killed their father. Upon release, Dom confronts and challenges Jakob to a race, forcing him to leave town when he loses.

2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat isn't supposed to be a real car; the stats sound more like something out of a Hollywood movie, but it's actually here, and you can buy one. With over 700 hp and a trunk large enough to fit three sets of golf clubs, the Charger Hellcat has to be one of the most insane four-door sedans ever produced. Standard features for 2020 include the brilliant Uconnect infotainment system with a touchscreen 8.4-inch display and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, as well as heated and power-adjustable leather seats, dual-zone climate control and safety features such as blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic assistance.

1968 Dodge Mid-Engine Hellcat Charger - F9

1968 Dodge Mid-Engine Hellcat Charger: Known as Hellacious, this extreme build is the latest mad Mopar to come out of SpeedKore's shop in Grafton, Wisconsin. Built as a road-legal recreation of the F9 hero car, this Dodge Charger has a completely bespoke chassis, necessary to allow the SpeedKore team to stick that big engine behind the seats. The powerplant is none other than a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V-8, which retains its factory output of 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual Graziano transaxle sourced from a Lamborghini Gallardo. A gated shifter in the interior hints towards this Italian connection. To handle all that power, Hellacious features a double A-arm front suspension from Detroit Speed, with a double-wishbone setup from Race Car Replicas out back. QA1 supplied the track-oriented shocks. In order to reel in over 700 hp of shove, SpeedKore installed a set of Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes. In keeping with the Fast & Furious theme, the Challenger has a hydraulic hand brake for big slides. Custom HRE "Hellacious" wheels, measuring 18x10.5-inches up front and 18x12.5-inches out back, give a properly menacing stance.

Fast X

Fast X's plot still a mystery, but we have seeing some of the vehicles that the cast members will drive, like Dom's 2022 Dodge Charger Hellcat STR used by Vin Diesel on July 18, 2022, when he was filming in Rome.

2022 Dodge Charger Hellcat STR Charger Fan's Artwork Created by: Betania Luques

The 2022 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, which comes standard with 717 horsepower, is one helluva family sedan. Not only are its big back seat and trunk great for taking more than two people on trips or just out to lunch, it's accelerates so ferociously that the same passengers will be cussing up a storm or asking for an airsick bag–or both. For an extra dose of "hold onto your butts," the Redeye model boasts a ridiculous 797 horses and will hit 60 mph in 3.5 seconds on its way to a claimed 203-mph top speed. While all that power might be too much for some, the widebody-only Charger actually handles surprisingly well for its size. Without a doubt, the Hellcat's main attraction is its supercharged 6.2-liter V-8. If you haven't heard, it now makes 717 horsepower along with 650 pound-feet of torque. The Redeye model features an enhanced version of the Hellcat engine, which generates 797 horses and 707 pound-feet. Obviously, these ultimate Chargers will leave no one wanting for power, all of which is directed to the rear wheels through a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission. The regular Hellcat we tested blasted to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and completed the quarter mile in 11.9 seconds at 124 mph. The Hellcat Redeye we tested hit 60 mph in 3.5 ticks and covered the quarter in 11.5 seconds at 126 mph. Of course, this unreal performance doesn't come without a price, and drivers must carefully apply the gas pedal to maintain traction. And those big rear tires are expensive to replace. The standard widebody setup that we drove helps improve the super sedans' body control and cornering grip thanks to wider, stickier tires and stiffer chassis components.
