Variety’s report doesn’t have much new about the film aside from stating Leterrier’s return. This is somewhat expected, as Fast X is not even out yet. However, Universal Pictures President Peter Cramer complimented Leterrier and his knowledge of the series.

“Louis joined the Fast & Furious team seamlessly, with an innate understanding of the franchise that is stronger than ever after two decades,” said Cramer of the Fast and Furious 11 director. “Under his direction, Fast X is a high-intensity thriller with all the spectacular action, emotion, and twists that the fans have come to expect — and then some. We are thrilled that he will continue to work his magic in the director’s chair.”

The soundtrack of the tenth film of "Fast and Furious" ("Vin Diesel's Fast X", in the original title) will feature some stars of Latin music, including Ludmilla. But that's not all: in a publication on Monday (24), Universal Pictures Brazil announced that the singer will also participate in the film. She's in a scene where she's thrown off.

According to an announcement of the new film, the Colombian J Balvin, the Argentine María Becerra and the Mexican Santa Fe Klan will also have songs in the production. Justin Quiles and Dalex also participate, among other names.

The title of the song, as well as other details, should be announced soon, but the singer has already assured fans that the surprise "does not end there." “I recorded a song from the movie with amazing people and there is more news,” she wrote, in an Instagram story.

In "Fast X", the villain Dante (Jason Momoa), son of Hernán Reis (Joaquim de Almeida), Brazilian drug trafficker killed by Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his team in the movie "Fast and Furious 5: Rio Heist”, of 2011, seeks revenge after the death of his father.

In addition to the scenes recorded in Rio de Janeiro, Los Angeles (USA), Rome (Italy), London (England), Portugal and Antarctica are other settings for the plot. The film hits theaters May 19 as the first in a two-part franchise. Both directed by Louis Leterrier and written by Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau Fast X and the rumor of Fast X part 2 with two new screen writers.
